Anchoring rollers make it easier to lower and weigh anchors on your ship. Bow rollers are made of Marine grade 316 stainless steel, Excellent seawater corrosion resistance and durable, universal for easy fitting on most boats. They help reduce scratches and provide a safe place to store anchors when used with optional chain tensioners or stoppers. Chain stoppers are mechanical devices that grab onto a link of chain so that you can take the tension off a windlass. They are very strong and mounted in line between the windlass and the bow roller.
Anchor line tensioners create tension on an anchor chain and/or shank so that it doesn’t slam around as the boat goes into the waves. The Kingston Anchors BR-20L Stainless Steel Anchor Bow Roller is designed to hold an anchor securely in place with the rounded bail controlling the rode. It is suited for Anchor's Quick Set anchor as well as Fluke, Danforth, Lightweight, Slip-Ring and Plow style anchors up to 35 lbs.Their cam action design enables lots of pressure to be applied. This is a stowage aid that is not to be used while at anchor.
