Smart Connectivity and Integrated Battery Tech

Advanced Battery Management (BMS) for Safety
Our intelligent battery management system (BMS) can systematically reduce the maximum power output of the electric motor to prevent overloads and extend the service life of the battery. **Consequently**, if necessary, the BMS reduces the power output to improve the range and ensure maximum safety. This temporary power-limiting regulation is particularly effective in challenging conditions such as high ambient temperatures or insufficient cooling of the battery.
**Notably**, if you notice a continuous drop in performance while driving, this is due to the battery's protective device. **Therefore**, you can avoid or reduce temporary power limitations by observing the following points:Maintenance and Efficiency Tips
(a) **For instance**, avoid heating the battery before operation, e.g. through exposure to sunlight.
(b) **Additionally**, operate your electric motor in the most efficient power range possible. In many applications, 30% of the maximum power must be used for the last 10% of the achievable maximum speed. **For this reason**, we recommend selecting a moderate power range from the start of the journey.
(c) **Finally**, if a power limitation sets in, additionally reduce the power if possible or allow the battery to cool down during a break.
