The BF6 LHNU model has a 127mm longer leg than the short shaft version allowing the prop to stay submerged on higher transom boats. This model does not include the 6 Amp charging coil used to charge a leisure battery from the alternator.

Freshly launched in 2016 the BF4, BF5 and BF6 have been refined, re-engineered and comprehensively tested to ensure the highest possible levels of reliability, performance, comfort and enjoyment.

Not only are the new BF engines among the lightest in their class, they have an ergonomically designed handle to make them easy to carry. The tiller handle can also be folded to make them as compact as possible to aid storage.

The new range packs a punch with a 127cm³ engine that not only provides efficient acceleration, but still supplies high levels of torque. Several propeller options are available to match perfectly with your needs (sold separately). If you are looking for an easy start engine, you will be really pleased with the new Honda decompression mechanism - anyone can start these outboards with the minimum of effort.

The new engine gathers all our experience to make sure you have the most comfortable ride. What's more, they have very low vibration, low noise and high reliability.

All BF 4-6 engines have recoil start, tiller handle with F-N-R gears and come with propeller. Unlike the BF5 and BF6 models, the BF4 does not have the option for a 6 Amp charging coil and an external fuel tank cannot be connected to the 4hp variant. All three models do however incorporate the 1.5L integrated fuel tank.
