Mastek Eurofix Gommoni Glue (Hypalon)

The product has medium-low viscosity and medium open time and is specifically formulated for the preparation of inflatable boats in hypalon, neoprene and rubberized fabrics.

The dry product is odorless, flexible and resistant to aging.
Bonding performed with Eurofix Gommoni demonstrates an excellent initial grip with a strong tensile strength immediately after coupling the parts. The thermal resistance of the bond is greater than 100°C.

How to use

• Sand the surfaces thoroughly just before gluing and clean them using solvent to completely eliminate the presence of plasticizers.
• Apply a uniform layer of Eurofix Gommoni, added with 8 – 10% of cross-linker, on both surfaces to be glued, allowing the solvent to dry perfectly. Drying time can vary between 15 and 25 minutes depending on the outside temperature.
• After approximately 2 hours, reapply the adhesive/crosslinker mixture.
• After about 30 minutes, proceed to couple the parts and press uniformly. To improve the final result, eliminate any air bubbles by passing a roller before pressing.
• If you wish to verify the adhesion strength with tensile tests, we remind you that the final setting of the product is reached at least 48 hours after application.

How to store it

Eurofix Gommoni should be stored at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C inside its original well-closed containers, in a well-ventilated environment and avoiding direct exposure to heat sources. Stability guaranteed in these conditions is 12 months.

If kept at particularly low storage temperatures, the product may become thicker and therefore more difficult to distribute.

Attention! Eurofix Gommoni is highly flammable: make sure that the systems used for handling are correctly earthed to avoid the accumulation of electrostatic charges.
