Kit Plastek 82 Glue by Mastek, polyurethane adhesive specific for nautical use with activator.
The product can be used as a two-component to be reactivated with heat and is specific for bonding wetsuits and PVC tubes of inflatable boats. Water-resistant and elastic, it has excellent cohesion strength and excellent resistance to plasticizers. The dry product is odorless, flexible and light in color.
Bondings made with Plastek 82 have good mechanical resistance and resistance to ageing.

Method of use:
Wash the PVC support carefully with a degreasing solvent, wait about 15 minutes, then spread an even layer of Plastek 82 on both surfaces and leave to dry for 15 minutes.
The materials must be joined only after the hot reactivation of the adhesive, then proceed to heat the surfaces up to 65 – 75°C and press carefully without deforming the materials.
Complete adhesion occurs after a minimum of 48 hours from gluing.
To further increase the tensile and heat resistance of the bonding, a percentage of approximately 8 – 10% cross-linker can be added to Plastek 82.
How to store it:
Plastek 82 should be stored at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C in its original tightly closed containers, in a well-ventilated environment and avoiding direct exposure to heat sources. The guaranteed stability in these conditions is 12 months.
If kept at particularly low storage temperatures, the product may become thicker and therefore more difficult to distribute.
